My research in moral and political philosophy primarily concerns the interrelationship of fundamental values in liberal democracy, including liberty, equality, and privacy. My dissertation, Digital Frontiers of Free Speech, asks how free speech norms should apply to social media platforms, search engines, and internet pornography.
My research on Early Modern value theory asks what separates modern moral philosophy from pre-modern thinking.
